Seeking Change

Hi All,

No, I am not talking about the kind of change one finds in between the sofa cushions or under the car seats.  I am speaking about the change within ourselves as a species, as human beings.  I have not been around long enough to be called an Elder, but I have put my time in on this planet, and in my community to know what I believe change is.  Still, it always gives me pause for concern when I reflect on what has and has not changed over the years in my life, and yours.  I have heard wiser and older people say that change is found within one’s self, and I believe this to be true, but how does one go about this?

Some of you might say that we only really pay attention to the negative events in our lives as they stand out in such stark contrast to those that are positive and uplifting.  This may be true, but I am not certain that this is the case.  Whether the tide turns (more…)

Your Memory and Your Health

Hi Folks,

I have been doing some research and study on the affects of how the memory greatly influences our health.  If you’ll recall, I recently blogged on how we have much more control over making ourselves sick, and bringing the self back to health simply by what we think and do.  It only makes sense to me that we are in control over our health through our consciousness.  This is only one study by one individual (me), and in no way am I claiming this reasoning is valid on a scientific level.

Hello Everyone,

I have recently and unexpectedly found myself at odds with a person I have peripherally and intimately known for many years.  Of course if the stumbling block is not about politics it inevitably is over religion, something that I have diligently researched, and examined over the course of my lifetime.  I have great respect for anyone who lives their life by the doctrine of religious belief regardless of the branch.  I have friends that are born again Christians, Mormons, Catholics, Baptists, Buddhists, Hindus and so on.  However it seems to be only one school of religious thought that is relentless and overwhelming in reciting line after line of prefabricated rhetoric.

Religion is often a hypersensitive subject for most, but my experience has shown me that many religions are willing to at least discuss the differences (more…)

Jupiter As A Star and The Challenge of Belief

Hi All,

You must be wondering what I mean by suggesting that Jupiter may be, or may have been a star.  Well, please do not become confused by this because there is more to the picture than you may know.  Technically Jupiter falls under the classification of a star due to the fact that it radiates about twice as much heat, light, and radiation than it absorbs from the Sun.  Though I must tell you, Jupiter’s heat emanations come from an internal reservoir left over since its birth 4.6 billion years ago.  I find this interesting in light of the fact that Jupiter has been waltzing over the Aries Point, or AP (thrust of action) in the sign of Aries (Fire) for the last several months along with the planet Uranus, both in Direct and Retrograde motion.

This conjunction, or combination of Jupiter with Uranus at the AP strongly suggests that there is definitely a shift or challenge to religious, and spiritual beliefs.  Laws, whether they be social, international, cosmic, or universal, challenge is at the forefront.  As we have been seeing, there is (more…)
